The Nursery

Christmas Time

How it all started.

Our story ~ Michael had recently returned from an honorable mission where he served in the California, Oakland mission Spanish speaking. I had moved down to Utah from Idaho, to spend more time with my grandparents and cousin. Mike and I both worked at the same call center, soon after we met a friend who set us up on a date. It only took a few dates and Michael was head over heels. I, on the other hand, was still not ready to be a couple. After an unfortunate incident involving my car breaking down, I was forced to rely on Michael for rides to work and back. Soon after, we started down that wonderful road towards the temple. We had dated for about five to six months when we started talking about making that eternal next step of marriage. Michael and I, both prayed about the decision to get married. Later that month he proposed to me on the top floor of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. Two months later we were sealed for all time and eternity in the Salt Lake City Temple. It was a wonderful day that we will both never forget. Almost eight years later we are still in love just as much now as we were then. We can not wait to become parents and start our eternal family.

We really just love doing things together, no matter what it is, even if we are just going on a walk with our dog Bella, or if we are on a vacation we don't care as long as we are together. Some of the things we like to do are: spending time with our family and friends, camping, reading, watching movies, hiking, swimming, and just goofing around. Although we have not traveled much, it is one of our great desires and hopes to be able to take our family and to visit new and interesting places. We want to instill in our children a sense of cultural understanding and love for all people. We also spend time doing home improvement projects, gardening and yard care. We love to be outside and enjoy nature, and having as much fun as we can!

Michael

Above all I love spending time with Crystal and making her, and others laugh. Her laugh is very contagious, and we have had some great moments with both of us rolling on the ground. Laughter has helped us get through some of our worst times. I also love cooking and drive Crystal crazy concocting new and different recipes, but many I have perfected and love to see others enjoy my creations. Some of my other interests include playing with our dog Bella, photography, watching sports and movies, gardening, yard care and spending time with loved ones whenever possible

I love spending time with Michael and my family. I also love to sing and play the Piano. Music has always been an important part in my life. I also love shopping with my mom and sisters. I love to bake and make yummy treats for everyone. I also like to read and watch movies. I love helping those in our ward who are in need, and friends and family. One of my favorite things to do is to paint and draw, I would love to share my appreciation of art with our children and help them to become creative. Another interest that I have is scrap booking. I want to be able to take lots of pictures of our children and keep these memories to show our lives as we grow.
